ViendoMovies celebrates along with its subscribers the achievements and contributions of the Latino culture.
From September 15 until October 15, the Channel honors the achievements of Latinos in the United States and will present special and exclusive programming of high-profile Hispanic films, dedicated to the public and especially to the audience of Hispanic origin living in the United States.
In 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson recognized the importance of honoring the contributions of the Hispanic community for the growth and development of the United States and dictated that events and celebrations would be held the week of September 15. Over the years, this celebration has extended up to a month to include the independence of 7 Hispanic countries: Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile.
