ViendoMovies will premiere high profile films this month of June. Apart from these premieres, the channel will also have action movies every Sunday of this month. The premieres include several exclusive films from Mexico, Spain, Venezuela and Argentina which are part of our regular programming.
In June La Jaula de Oro by Diego Quemada-Diez, will premiere. This movie addresses issues of migration, specifically the Central American migrants who cross to Mexico to reach the United States. Among the 45 awards that this movie won is the Ariel Awards for Best Actor, Fenix Awards for Best Feature Film, a special mention at the Cannes Film Festival, and many more.
La Caja Vacía is another Mexican premiere, created by Mexican filmmaker Caludia Sainte-Luce. The story tells how Toussaint (a 60-year-old Haitian emigrant) is reunited with his daughter Jasmine after years apart because of his illness.
Another premiere is La Española Inglesa, based on the literary work of Miguel de Cervantes. The actors Carles Francino and Macarena García are in charge of interpreting Ricardo and Isabel, this film takes place in the 16th century. Lola Herrera gives life to Queen Elizabeth I of England, and Miguel Rellán will be Cervantes, as narrator of his own novel.
The following premiere is titled Cristo Rey, a Dominican film directed by Leticia Tonos.
South American films are present this month, starting with the thriller Talion (Chile) directed by Martín Tura and in its cast has Viviana Rodríguez, Ramón González, Manolo Cruz and more. Elefante Blanco (Argentina) directed by Pablo Trapero and starring Ricardo Darin and Jeremy Reiner.
Apart from these premieres ViendoMovies will present actions movies each Sunday of this month. The first film is called Azotes de Barrio by Jackson Gutiérrez; another film in this cycle is Perro Guardián (Peru), starred by Carlos Alcántara; another movie is Nesio directed by Alan Coron, and starred by Jorge Adriana Espindola and Tenoch Huerta. Other films are Torrente, El Rey del Najayo (Dominican Republic), and Alpha (Spain).
