Despido Procedente
ViendoMovies presents in the first three months of the year 2020, films of various genres and countries dedicated to the Latino population of the United States and Puerto Rico.
Among January premiers are Cómprame un Revolver (a big-screen hit with 9 nominations among international awards) shows Huck’s story. Huck, a small girl from Mexico, hides her face with a mask so people don’t recognize her gender. She does this because many women are disappearing where she lives. Disguised, she helps her father, an addict who cleans a baseball field where a gang of narcos gathers to play.
Another awarded premier is La Cordillera (Argentina) starring the actor Ricardo Darín. In this film, the president of Argentina Hernán Blanco (Ricardo Darín) is at the Latin American presidents’ summit that takes place in La Cordillera.
