ViendoMovies announces for May the launch of six exclusives films -several internationally awarded- from Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, and Spain.
Mexico ViendoMovies launches De Las Muertas y Zeus. De Las Muertas is a thriller film that tells the story of an interview between a prisoner accused murdering several women, but who says he is innocent and a reporter who is interested in investigating the other side of the story. Zeus is a psychological thriller directed by Miguel Calderón.
Another film to be launched is the opera prima of the Venezuelan director Lorenzo Viga, Desde Allá, a drama with thriller elements that follows the unexpected relation between Armando and Elder. The film has nine awards and 23 nominations, including the León de Oro Award for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival.
Another launch is Santa and Andrés, directed by the Cuban Carlos Lechuga. The film tells the story of Andrés, a gay writer who has been put under surveillance in Santa, because of his ideological differences with the government.
Argentina launches the film El Color de un Invierno, written, directed and starred by Cecilia Valenzuela Gioia. The film follows Lucía, a young 21 year-old-women who has suffered from anxiety and panic attacks all her life until she meets Olivia, who has helped her overcome her traumas and discover her sexuality.
To end ViendoMovies presents Palmeras En La Nieve, starring Mario Casas and Adriana Ugarte, an adaptation of the homonymous novel by Luz Gabas that in 2012was a best-seller in Spain.
