VIP 2000 TV is actively working on several projects: Amores que Matan in co-production with Casablanca from Brazil and Grupo Abudo Massó in Puerto Rico, Pecados with Casablanca and a new project in English with a US company whose name they cannot disclose yet.
According to Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV, the best way to grow as a company is through alliances and the one they have with Casablanca has been “extraordinary”.
“I have been trying to make alliances at all levels. I firmly believe in alliances for growth, in that each company at this moment has a strength and and that joining those strengths is what enables each project to advance at a faster speed that doing it alone,” expressed Rotundo.
She commented that Amores que Matan, a series about real-life passion crimes that had happened around the world, produced in Puerto Rico, will have a first season of 60 episodes. For Pecados, they hired one of the writers of La Rosa de Guadalupe and the goal is to take it to a daily delivery shot in Brazil with Casablanca with 200 episodes per year.
They are also about to start a new property in English with a US company they are partnering with for the project.
Rotundo added that as part of the WAWA Board of Directors, she is trying to create networking events for Mip Cancún and Natpe. “The Association already has 300 members. We are in full growth and will announce great things for Mip Cancún,” she ended.
