Julián Gil and Elizabeth Gutiérrez: Stars and Executive Producers alongside Carlos Mesber of We Love Entertainment, Roxana Rotundo of VIP 2000 TV, and Lilo Vilaplana, Director of Eva and Adán en Miami

The presentation of the film Eva and Adan in Miami (Eva y Adán en Miami), a co-production by VIP 2000 TV led by Roxana and Rosalind Rotundo, We Love Entertainment by Carlos Mesber, Vilaplana Films under director Lilo Vilaplana, and Spanish company El Sueño Eterno, took place during the third day of Content Americas.

“We are at a transformative moment in the industry, and this project represents that innovation we strive for in every market. It is an honor for me to present Eva and Adan in Miami, a co-production between four companies: Vilaplana Films, led by project director Lilo Vilaplana; We Love Entertainment by Carlos Mesber; VIP 2000 TV by Rosalind and Roxana Rotundo; and the Spanish company El Sueño Eterno,” highlighted Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV.

FILM FRANCHISE: FIRST MIAMI, THEN MADRID

Rotundo explained that the project is a film franchise that begins with Eva and Adan in Miami, starring Elizabeth Gutiérrez and Julián Gil. “It’s a concept that revolves around the city of Miami and will expand to a second part, Romeo and Julieta in Madrid, to be produced in Spain.”

Gutiérrez and Gil are not only acting talents but also executive producers of the project. “This marks Gutiérrez’s return to acting after 12 years,” Rotundo noted, adding, “This is a massive effort. Everyone knows the industry is experiencing a decrease in production, and we want to stay relevant.”

“I’m happy to be part of this collaboration because I now work with love and passion. The important thing is doing what we truly enjoy. When Roxana called me and said, ‘I have a project with Julián, Elizabeth, and Lilo. I’ll send you the script and the contract.’ I told her, ‘Don’t send me the script; just send the contract. With the kind of people involved in this, I don’t need to read the script. Let’s move forward and be happy,’” said Carlos Mesber, CEO of We Love Entertainment.

Vilaplana added, “Miami is a challenging city for production, but not impossible. We’ve proven this by completing many projects here. With the partnership of VIP 2000 TV, Carlos Mesber, and these amazing actors, our team at Vilaplana Films is excited and confident that we will accomplish many more projects in Miami.”
