VIP 2000 TV: We sold format of the Greek telenovela Brusko to Televisa

VIP 2000 TV just closed –together with Miguel Rosenfeld from Arcadia Internacional- the sales of the format of the Greek telenovela Brusko (195×60’) to Televisa. “It is the first Greek novela format that Televisa buys from us. Previously, they had bought a Rumanian novela from our catalogue. The scripts are being translated right now and the production is estimated to be next year,” explained Rosalind Rotundo, VP of VIP 2000 TV.She also mentioned that Brusko was acquired by MundoMax in US Hispanic, which is the ninth market to buy it. “The novela already started on Chile´s TV Nacional and on Peru´s América TV. The rest of the countries will air it later on.”She said that in order to continue increasing distribution of Escándalos in the US and Canada, the 26 most international episodes have just been placed on Amazon US. This, in addition to distribution through iTunes. In LatAm, Telemundo Internacional has the rights of Escándalos for OTT, SVOD and pay TV.Regarding ZAP Novelas, she expressed that in October they will start shooting El Retrato de Dorian Grey that will be available for the beginning of 2017. “It is a co-production with KM Services in Panama and the production Company is José Luis Rodríguez’s Emotion,k with whom we have made 8 episodes of Prueba de Fe and some episodes of Escándalos,” she expressed.She added that they are selling a special of Prueba de Fe on Mother Theresa of Calcutta (2×60’), whose canonization will be on September 4.
