ViX+ announced that the 3Pas Studios-produced series La Noche del Diablito has officially been renewed for a second season. In the show, Mexican actor and comedian Mauricio Barrientos, better known as “El Diablito,” and co-host Paloma Cedeño, travel around Mexico City to talk with celebrity guests about life, relationships, sex, and human connection.
The first season of the series explored taboo topics like polyamorous relationships, sexual partner selection and intimacy, and self-love. The final episode of Season 1 featured guest stars Pepe y Teo and Viktoria Volkova. In the same light-hearted way, season two will delve into sugar daddies and sugar babies, nudism and exhibitionism, the impact of psychoactive substances in the sexual experience, among other themes. “El Diablito” and Paloma Cedeño will also be joined by other high-profile actors, comedians, and influencers in the second season.
The popular show is part of TelevisaUnivision’s first look deal with 3Pas Studios, the entertainment company co-founded by global megastar Eugenio Derbez, and his producing partner Ben Odell. On the 3Pas side, Odell, Derbez, and Javier Williams, SVP of Spanish language content, serve as Executive Producers as does Pablo Calasso from 3pas Studios’ Mexican production services company, Visceral. Paul Drago and Moises Dayan served as Executive Producers on the ViX+ side.
