Voxx Studios is seeking to continue growing in Los Angeles and diversifying to be a reference in dubbing, music, production, and entertainment, informed Andrei Zinca, its president.
“We are finishing the construction of a 464m² facility where there is an Atmos mixing studio, and another for music production and recording at the same time, as well as a recording studio connected with the mixing studio and the entire area, is almost 200m² and they are connected in the back to a 250m² concert and events hall. All this will allow us to open in five different departments,” explained Zinca.
The first department is the usual one, he detailed, for dubbing, translation, and subtitling, which they have been doing for five years; the second is the post-production department, where they are working with an animation film from the US, and is where they will work the audio for soundtracks, mixes, etc.; another department that is the one for events, called Voxx House, where they will organize concerts, theater, and any type of presentation; Voxx Music is another. There they will produce music and will be able to mix it with immersive sound; and lastly, the original production department, where they are already making contents. “We have finished the co-production of a feature film and are currently doing another co-production of a documentary of the great impact that is being shot in Africa.”
Additionally, in Voxx they are launching motion capture, which allows them to enter the universe of videogame and animation production. “We have many signs that in 2020 things are going to be as we dreamed them,” concluded Zinca.
