U.S. basketball fans can view 2017 Puerto Rico Basketball League games on WAPA América, every Sunday at 7pm.
WAPA América will exclusively air one game per week, which this year is comprised of ten teams: Aguada, Arecibo, Bayamón, Fajardo, Guayama, Humacao, Mayagüez, Ponce, San Germán y Quebradillas.
Each team will play 36 games during the regular season. Carlos Arroyo, Renaldo Balkman, Mike Harris, Donta Smith Eric Dawson, Hakim Warrick, and Damion James are among the former NBA players and fan-favorites returning to the court this season.
“The Puerto Rico Basketball League has a deeply committed fan base not only in Puerto Rico, but also in the United States,” said Joe Ramos, president of WAPA Televisión. “WAPA América strives to bring the very best in sports programming to the Puerto Rican community living in the United States, and we are proud to keep these devoted fans connected to their favorite teams.”
