Including the rebranding, they premiered a musical jingle at Pégate al Mediodía along with a sample of all their television programs.
“We have been working for three months on this great project, of which we are extremely excited about and deeply proud. For years, WAPA has been Puerto Rico’s network. We are promoters of Puerto Rican and international talent, increasing our programming and exposing our artists diaspora. For those who live abroad, we are their emotional connection to their homeland. With this new image, we want to celebrate together with the country the evolution of WAPA,” said Jorge Hidalgo, president of WAPA TV.
As part of the new image and corporate evolution, the network’s facilities have been labeled with the new logo that integrates their motto. The same goes for the website https://www.wapa.tv/, social networks, staff uniforms, and all the visual material that identifies WAPA as Puerto Rico within.
The original concept was developed by Hidalgo, while the production was led by the network’s Promotions department. The campaign jingle was is a creation of Pepe Ojeda, who wrote it and made the musical arrangement, while Juliana Ortiz was responsible for the choreography.
