Gustavo Morandé, CEO and founder of Zapping, talked, during the PRODU webinar “Content search, discovery and personalization”, about their experience implementing the Twitter feed tool, which allows the user to see the conversation about the program they are watching at the same time.
“The TV detects the hashtag of the show being displayed and what people are tweeting. All of this adds value to the end-user experience. We focus on making new functionalities,” said Morandé.
Regarding sports content, they implemented another innovation with the support of Gracenote, that displays results, incidents, positions, and even automatic rewind to enjoy the goals again.
“We want that with Zapping, the user has a much better experience than they have anywhere else, not only because it runs well, loads fast, it’s HD, but because we care about what they would like to watch on our TV.”
