Bordering on Love, a new romantic comedy being produced by The Cortez Brothers, has been picked by the California Film Commission as one of the 31 projects that will receive part of the $100 million it is awarding in tax credits.The movie thus takes its place with 13 other feature films including Entourage, 14 series on cable TV like Pretty Little Liars, and three movies of the week.The competition started with a total of 380 entries, a record number of applications for tax breaks. Bernadette Rivero, founder and president of The Cortez Brothers, told PRODU: We love to tell stories, either with agency input or creating our own storylines. This feature film reaffirms The Cortez Brothers tradition of placing more and more Latino characters and culture in the leading media any way we can.
