Bridget López, Administrative Partner at Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, was selected by Ford in its fourth edition of Legendary Women, an initiative that seeks to honor Hispanic women who embody the four pillars of the brand: smart, quality, green and safe. “It is a tremendous blessing to be recognized by Ford as a Legendary Woman who is seen as a leader in my community of Dallas. Dallas is a great city that offers a wide-range of opportunities for business mobility, economic prosperity, and innovation. So, for Ford to recognize me as a representative of this great city, is truly a tremendous honor. For me, the Ford brand is an iconic American success story of innovation and safety. The company’s success represents what we all truly want to achieve” she told PRODU.Her dedication to law is equaled by her commitment with her community, in which she has been part of numerous boards of directors, including the Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport.“The characteristic that I most identify with is safety. As a business owner, I make decisions every day that impact the livelihood of thousands of people. It is a responsibility I take a lot of pride in and I strive to do my best each day.”She would like to see Ford create mentoring programs and scholarship programs for young girls and women to become engineers and designers in all science related fields. “More than half of college students today are women, but they are historically underrepresented in the areas of science and math. The worker of the future is one that must have the skill sets of science/math but also have the soft skills to communicate and collaborate closely with others.”
