Savage: Grandes ideas que se ejecutan mediante formas innovadoras de la tecnología están siendo reconocidas
In the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, its organizers look to the future with the inauguration of The Innovation Lions, a new prize category honoring members of the creative community who communicate big ideas through technology and innovation.The jury is tasked with choosing the best in pioneering technology including apps, tools, programs, hardware, products and any other all-new software that has been developed to boost creative excellence in communications.Terry Savage, chairman of the Lions Festival, said that “big ideas that are executed using innovative forms of technology such as Nike+ Fuelband, winner of the 2012 Titanium Grand Prix and The Invisible Car, winner of the 2012 Outdoor Grand Prix, are already being recognized and awarded in Cannes.Contestants will have to present a written proposal and proof of concept. Those who are selected must give a 10-minute presentation of their technology to the jury, followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers.The session will take place at the Palais des Festivals on June 16, 2013. After discussion and voting by the jury, the winners will be announced at the presentation of awards on Tuesday, June 18 at Cannes.
