General Motors Chevrolet division announced that beginning immediately the agency in charge of developing its advertising for the U.S. Hispanic market will be Casanova Pendrill of the McCann Worldgroup, an account previously handled by the multicultural agency LatinWorks.The change is essentially a consolidation with McCanns Commonwealth agency, which creates advertising for the brand on the general Anglo market.”Connecting with Hispanic audiences in a meaningful way is critical to Chevrolet” said Paul Edwards, VP for U.S. marketing at Chevrolet. “We welcome Casanova Pendrill to the Chevrolet team and we look forward to working with them to build on Chevrolet’s strong product momentum among Hispanic consumers”.Transition of the Chevy firm to Casanova Pendrill from LatinWorks will be completed in the next 30 days, the carmaker said.
