The Smithsonian National Museum of American History selected the agency d expósito & Partners to create the tribute video for the exhibition “De Última Hora: Latinas Report Breaking News” to honor Hispanic women journalists.“We saw this exhibit as an opportunity to continue showing the world that Latino history is part of American history, so collaborating with the Smithsonian was a tremendous honor. Our agency team approached creating this important tribute video with great pride and responsibility, and as creators representing our Latino communities and the Hispanic advertising industry that helped build and shape the Spanish-language media ecosystem in the U.S. We also felt an immense sense of respect and admiration in recounting the stories of these highly accomplished journalists and their commitment to informing and empowering us every day,” said Louis Maldonado, partner and Manager Director at d’expósito & Partners.As with Hispanic advertising campaigns, it’s not just about giving the facts. “It’s about connecting on a deeper level through storytelling that connects to the Latino heart and serves a deeper purpose,” the agency noted in a LinkedIn post.
