In this new opportunity, eMarketer says that more than 147 million people in the US have used a tablet in 2014, exceeding the 11.2% from 2013 figures.The audience in America represents 58.5% of Internet users and 46.1% of the population this year; and is on track to include more than half of all people in the US in 2016. All this according to a new eMarketer report American Users of Tablets: Complete Forecast updated 2014, which explores the growing public of consumers of the devices.Also, US Hispanics have the highest rate of penetration in tablets of any race or ethnicity in 2018. This year, 28.1 million of Hispanics used tablets, representing more than half of all Hispanics and 70.9% of Hispanics are Internet users. This group will also provide the biggest gains, with a growth rate of 14.9%.Among the achievements of the total base of tablet users, this year 72.4% of users play games through tablets regularly and the audience growth will remain stable in the coming years.In addition, approximately 55.4% of users regularly will visit social networks through the tablet in the coming years.
