Lopez Negrete Communications was honored at the HMC 2023 Strategic Excellence Prizes for itsHoliday House campaign, created for Walmart in the categories of Content Creator and Consumer Participation Strategy. “The Gold Award in the Content Creator category and in the Consumer Engagement category for Walmart’s Holiday House are equally important since they both highlight the innovative work we roll out in collaboration with Walmart for social network platforms. The distinction of our colleagues in the industry is proof of the commitment and dedication we put into every project and keeps us developing creative solutions for our clients with incredible results,” said Fernando Osuna, chief creative officer of Lopez Negrete Communications.This campaign for the holiday season brought together a group of creatives from all over the country, talented professionals of different origins and cultures, to show that Walmart is the place to save no matter what your family’s tradition. “The insight of the campaign featuring how we Hispanics always get the most out of everything and that nothing is ever lacking at home for celebrating both what is planned and what is unexpected, from the purchases for every Yuletide party to the famous leftovers, and all to enjoy our loved ones and traditions more, whatever the situation at the time.” Celebrated with Walmart’s Holiday House are multicultural rituals that are carried out the length and breadth of the country, by means of concepts presented in segments and in a gradual way by different media. “With this campaign we wish to show that the ingenuity of Hispanics together with Walmart’s promise to help us ‘save more to live better,’ is the perfect equation for making sure our consumers can do more with less at this time of year,” he said. The 30-year agency-client relationship has allowed the exploration of the brand’s DNA and so provide a unique view of creative work.“It makes us proud to serve Walmart as a Hispanic partner, since we share the changing market trends and the real insights that move today’s Hispanics to enrich creativity with cultural relevance, as Holiday House does by allowing Walmart to continue being the first choice of our Latino audience.” Lopez Negrete Communications has been a partner and defender of the HMC (Hispanic Marketing Council) since its beginnings.
