Gillette launches its campaign Lo Perfecto no es Bonito for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

Less than a month before the opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Gillete launched Lo Perfecto no es Bonito, the main piece of the brand’s campaign for the games.Starring the global Gillette ambassador players, Neymar Jr. (Brazil, soccer), Ashton Eaton (USA, decathlon), Ning Zetao (China, swimming free style) and Andy Tennant (Great Britain, team pursuit cycling), the film Lo Perfecto no es Bonito lifts the curtain and focuses its attention on the exhausting path athletes must face during their training phase. “I think it is difficult for people to understand athletes’ total and absolute commitment to perfecting their sport and becoming as accurate as possible in their execution” said Neymar Jr. “It’s amazing that Gillette wanted to highlight that part of the path: not just the sparkle and glamour, but what is really involved in reaching the biggest stage in sports worldwide. I feel honored to be part of something that shows what truly happens backstage in the period before the Olympic Games.”For the film, Gillette worked with the awarded singer/songwriter Sia, giving a fresh shift to her recent song, Unstoppable. To celebrate the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the brand additionally recruited three global artists to incorporate their singular talent and experience in toUnstoppable, for a totally new and unheard mix of the song.
