Hispanicize 2017 announced the marketing category finalists for the 3rd Annual Tecla Awards which honors excellence in U.S. Latino online video, blogging, social media and those who create it. The Tecla Awards for marketing include two categories recognizing excellence in multicultural digital marketing using social media strategies by brands and agencies.The finalists for the two categories are:Best Agency doing Hispanic or Multicultural Social Media: This award honors a PR, Integrated, digital or advertising agency that is consistently doing phenomenal, innovative work in the social media space.- FleishmanHillard Miami– CIEN+ (formerly XL Alliance)– RepúblicaBest Multicultural or Hispanic Social Media Campaign Executed by a Brand: This award honors innovative and effective use of social media community building and engagement for a specific campaign or ongoing program.– State Farm for State Farm Neighbors Campaign 2016– FleishmanHillard Miami for AT&T Latino #ExpresaTuPasion launch campaign– Walt Disney World Resort for #DisneyFamilia blog series on The Disney Parks Blog– MARCA Miami for NASCAR Latino launch 2016The actual winners of the 3rd Annual Tecla Awards are determined by The Hispanicize Tecla Awards Gold Academy, a panel of judges consisting of marketing, PR and social media executives, creators, and other experts in the digital media industry. Winners will be revealed the night of April 6th during the Hispanicize Tecla Awards ceremony at Miami’s historic Olympia Theatre, the closing event for Hispanicize 2017.
