El 76% de los millennials busca oportunidades para aprender dentro del trabajo
D’arrens, the biggest technology company aimed at offering solutions in digital media in the Latin American market, has carried out a study in which it analyzes young Latin American people, and has concluded that millennials will ocupy 41% of the workplaces.Currently, this population represents 1.700 million individuals worldwide, and are a creative, impatient, and ambitious population group.For those who don’t know it, millennials are young people born between 1981 and 1996, young native digitals, who know technology and are hyper-connected through the Internet. They are updated in social media and are regular users of mobile applications. They are also very demanding with what they consume, both in audiovisual contents as in what they buy and where.According to the study, 76% of millennials seek opportunities to learn at work and 70% wait for an answer from their superiors to reach personal and professional growth. They pay attention to trends and know what is expected of them and they prepare to achieve the goals of the sector they are interested in.They also like to go to work in informal clothes and would love to study abroad, which is why they choose big companies with international projection.Obviously they wish to find a job they like, but they also seek one in which they can combine their personal and professional lives, and in 61% of the cases, they demand that their work day is respected.
