Natascha Otero-Santiago, consultora de RRPP y Redes Sociales de NOS-Communications
Natascha Otero-Santiago, Public Relations & Social Media Consultant at NOS-Communications talked to PRODU about a project with Ford titled Millennials go further that “shows that brands can be socially responsible.” “It involves a group of five Latino Hispanic millennials that we connected with Ford and the company gave them a great opportunity in helping them get in touch with specialists to develop their professional careers” she explained. The project began three years ago where Ford in Spanish is located: Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Miami. The five youngsters come from low income families and with the project they have had the chance to receive top counseling to boost their professional development. Otero-Santiago explains the outcomes: “We have, for example, Golden Martínez that now has a foundation and is a motivator aiming at communities -particularly children- advising them to improve physical and mental health.” Another example mentioned by Otero-Santiago is Lupita Riestra from LA. She comes from a Mexican family and became the first generation in her family in having an education after being part of the Ford Millennials go further project. “These are great examples from different U.S. regions that encompasses teaching them about the opportunities they have and all thanks to Ford that sees the need of doing this.”
