Nelson Cabrera, General Manager and Director at Cherry Sundae Media stands as one of the most awarded Hispanic directors this year after winning many awards such as: a Silver Lion in Cannes; Grand Prix, Gold and Quarter Silver in El Ojo Iberoamérica; Grand Prix and Gold in El Sol; and Best Idea in USH Idea Awards with three Golds. “2015 was an amazing year for me personally and for Cherry Sundae Media. In 2016 we don’t plan on slowing down and once again winning lots of awards with great agencies. Great work deserves great directing” he said to PRODU. He believes that his most astonishing achievement was winning the Silver Lion for The Volvo Hijacking Car Service in the promo and activation category in Cannes Lions festival, which meant the debut of We Believers agency “In We Believers and in all the agencies Ive been part of the last 10 years; weve made many things possible with Nelson, even the impossible. Recently, Cabrera filmed five commercials with two Asian celebrities for Candy Crush in Bangkok, post-produced in Shanghai. The Candy Crush ads will be released early next year, and will be broadcasted worldwide.
