The annual Gunn Report Media, global evaluation of creativity in means of communication, innovation and efficiency, acknowledged OMD as the most awarded media agency network in the world for 2015, followed by Starcom MediaVest and Mindshare. Regarding brands, Coca-Cola was named the most awarded global advertiser winning more international accolades than brands such as Samsung and McDonalds.”Creativity and media are not mutually exclusive or even in competition – they interact with each other” said Journalist Isabelle Musnik, editor of The Gunn Report for Media. “While technology and data are fundamental to achieving results, it is insight, strategy and ideas that are essential to delivering them” she added.The award was granted to OMD after an exhaustive survey of the most important awards programs in 42 global markets.
