Pulpo Media names Rosy Marin as new head of sales

Pulpo Media, a leading online media company with fast expanding penetration among Hispanics across the U.S., recently announced that Rosy Marin has joined the organization as head of sales with the title of Chief Revenue Officer and with the responsibility of growing the brand’s portfolio of nationwide accounts even more.Marin has almost 20 years’ experience of high-level management in the Hispanic television advertising industry. Her background includes positions as senior VP of network ad sales for the Western Region at NBC Universal—Telemundo Media, where she was fundamental in transforming the network’s sales in the region, which year on year showed double-digit growth. And as national sales director at Univision Communications, Marin racked up significant earnings for the network and its affiliated stations.“I am excited to start this new phase of my career with Pulpo Media and look forward to working with the team to drive sales across leading advertising agencies and blue chip brands focused on both the total online Hispanic market, and in particular—the more acculturated, and growing (i)Hispanic segment,” Marin said.“Rosy’s vast advertising sales experience, industry knowledge, and consumer acumen has already made her a very valuable addition to the Pulpo Media family.
