Ricardo Trejo is joining from VMLY&R/Red Fuse as Executive Creative Director of Walton Isaacson. A recipient of the Effie for Advertising Effectiveness, Trejo has worked on initiatives for virtually every market segment, including Black, Latino, LGBTQ+ and general audiences while at agencies such as Uniworld, GlobalHue, Young & Rubicam, The Concept Farm and VMLY&R’s Red Fuse prior clients have included Colgate Palmolive, Citibank, Cheerios and Walmart. “Ricardo’s extensive background leading cross-functional and decentralized teams is key to inspiring unexpected and innovative thinking. He really leverages the power of diversity in the fullest sense of the word,” Walton Isaacson founder and CEO Aaron Walton said. “Ricardo not only speaks over seven languages, but he is a master at connecting with culturally relevant, business-minded creativity.” Also joining the agency is Jamila Price as Digital Media Director. Jamila joins from Publicis Groupe where she was Director of Digital Investment. “Price brings a wealth of knowledge in both regional and national digital advertising” said Walton. The agency also announced key leadership team promotions, such as Juan Bonilla, formerly SVP Head of New Business Development and Multicultural and Diversity Lead, who has been promoted to EVP, Account Services. Bonilla has been responsible for driving business through leadership for multiple brands and is currently focused on such clients as JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, and BMS.
