AHAA: The Voice of the Hispanic Market announced an addition to its lineup of speakers for this years Thinking under the Influence conference none other than Rupert Murdoch, chairman of the board and CEO of 21st Century Fox and executive president of News Corp, the largest provider of news services in the English-speaking world.”It is an honor that he has chosen to present at the AHAA Thinking under the Influence conference and share what role the U.S. Hispanic market plays in the world’s largest news conglomerate’s strategy, said Aldo Quevedo, chair of AHAA and principal/creative director of Richards/Lerma. For over 60 years Murdoch has been creating global media empires that cover journalism, print publications, movies and television. After setting up shop in Australia and taking control of News Limited, he spread his wings to Europe and the United States, taking control of the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal.After buying 20th Century Fox Film Corporation (Now 21st Century Fox), the Hollywood studio that has produced numerous prizewinning movies like Titanic and Avator, Murdoch had a decisive role in the founding of Fox Television Stations, FOX Broadcasting Company and FOX Sports. Later he established FOX News Channel and successful cable channels like Fox Sports Network, FX and the National Geographic Channels.
