Sprint announced the launch of a new campaign promoting its Sprint Framily plan, an innovative program that lets consumers decide who they consider their family so they can all join in and save.According to the 2010 U.S. Census, 60 percent of homes are made up of at least three people and are growing faster than households with more members. The Sprint Framily plan gives this 60 percent of homes the chance to create a family plan with practically any group of people who want to buy a mobile service together Kymber Umaña, Hispanic marketing manager at Sprint, told PRODU.Sprint Framily is available for new and existing clients. The more people who join the group, up to 10 telephone lines, the more money everyone on the plan will save, since each account can be billed separately. Customers themselves decide who is going to be in the group Umaña said.For one line, new Sprint customers pay $55 a month per line for unlimited calls and texts and 1 GB of data. For each new client that joins, the cost per person drops by $5 a month up to a maximum monthly discount of $30 per line.All members of the group can personalize their plan to satisfy their particular needs. For just $20 a month per line, Sprint Framily members can purchase up to unlimited data and also get a new telephone every year. Members of the plan can share their savings, without the inconvenience of having to share a bill the executive said.
