Sprint inicia búsqueda de nuevo personal bilingüe
The company, based in Overland Park is looking for staff fluent in both English and Spanish to fill jobs across the US, mostly located in California, Texas and Florida. Sprint expects to fill about 90 bilingual jobs.Together with efforts to increase its marketing strategy for Hispanic consumers, Sprint has produced at least seven new TV spots since the new CEO, Marcelo Claure, arrived in August. Like those running in English, the commercials focus on the family and data plans from Sprint, which Claure introduced in his first weeks.Pew Research found that Latinos are more likely than other users to access Web content via mobile devices, 76% versus 60%. Moreover, the growth of Latinos who own cell phones have rapidly increased by 76% compared to 2012, which was 86%.”Our plans are directed straight to the Latino community,” Claure said on the new strategy. “We know the Hispanic community, and we will market everything we do under a differentiated offering.” The decision appears to be successful, given recent trends among Hispanic consumers in the US, with an annual purchasing power of $ 1.4 trillion.
