Starcom MediaVest Group selected VivaKis CEO as its new CEO of Global Performance Marketing. His first task will be uniting the search agencies, social and programmatic marketing of Publicis Groupe into one marketing arm. Bertozzi will have to spot infrastructure gaps globally and pinpoint areas where new performance capabilities can be implemented. “We have great opportunity with the new data sets and technologies that have come out to the market, to create a performance offering of the future which focuses on the vision of the universal view of customer, with a foundation of attribution and data that measures well beyond the click to offline sales” said Bertozzi. Previously, Bertozzi worked at ZenithOptimedia and TMP Worldwide. In 2010 he joined the technology firm VivaKi where he established media-buying practice Audience on Demand. On February 2015 he was promoted to President of Global Clients to serve the biggest accounts at Publicis Groupe. After the companys restructuring, the centralized model at VivaKi was discarded and is now part of a merger of agencies that focus in technology and programmatic marketing.
