Last autumn, T-Mobile offered free text and data, and cut the prices of call to a fix rate of 20 cents per minute in more than 120 countries.Since we launch this program last October, we have had a very good reception, and we are totally changing the use habits when users travel internationally, Gabriel Torres, VP and T-Mobiles Southeast general head, commented to PRODU.Recently, T-Mobile published the results of a poll made to international travelers. The study revealed how they were unable to pay the high rates of international roaming that charge three of the carriers. Almost all the polled people (88 %) felt frustrated by expenses. Among users of other carriers, around 20% left their devices at home or do not turn them on after leaving the country. Another 40% turns off the data roaming to avoid high costs and 20% assures that they would turn off the roaming if they knew how to make it. Un-carriers clients that travel abroad make three times more calls, send seven times more SMS and use 28 times more data than before, and the use of their data have increased almost twice every month. The group of all the measures we have taken have made us the carrier that is growing more, with 2.4 million of clients during last year and the first quarter of 2014, more than two million of clients added to the network, Torres ended.
