The Coca-Cola Company has been chosen as Advertiser of the Year in the 29th edition of El Sol, the Latin American Festival of the Advertising Communication, after being considered for its 128 years trajectory, a reference in marketing and advertising. The company has received a total of 32 suns in the last three years (10 golden suns, 10 silver suns and 12 bronze suns), obtained since 2010 with campaigns made in all the countries that have participated in the festival. The Coca-Cola team thanked after knowing this prize that awards not only creativity but also innovation, and that the companys Marketing and Advertising community is developing every day. New conversations, new media, new formats, but paying always attention to detect the insight and a good liquid idea that starts interesting stories to tell and share, Rodolfo Echeverria, Coca-Cola Latin Americas Marketing VP, commented.With the creation of El Sol Foundation, and unlike previous editions, this years advertiser of the festival will be chosen as a Company internationally, regardless the origin of its campaigns.
