All3media sells 180+ hours to Acorn TV

Acorn TV from AMC Networks acquired more than 180 hours of detective content from All3media International for Latin America.

This includes the first five seasons of the successful drama Midsomer Murders (18×120’ and 5×100’), the second and third seasons of the mystery series Agatha Raisin (a Free@Last and Company Pictures production for Acorn TV); five seasons of The Brokenwood Mysteries (20×120’) and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (34×60’), among others.

also appears in another agreement in Latin America, since Televisión Nacional de Uruguay signed for the 16-20 (27×120’) batch, becoming the first free television network in the country to air the drama.

Don Klees, SVP of Programming for Acorn TV, AMC Networks pointed out that they are pleased “to partner with our friends in All3media International to expand our content offer in Latin America with several of our most popular Acorn TV series in the US”.

For his part, Janel Downing, Sales VP for Latin America in All3media International, added that they are very happy to continue their collaboration with Acorn TV, “since this fantastic selection of dramatic titles is aimed at the service in Latin America,” as well as delighted to see Midsomer Murders have its debut on free television in Uruguay, “assuring that this highly popular detective drama reaches more viewers in the country
