During a talk in MIP Cancún, Pablo Iacoviello, Head of Contents Acquisitions at Amazon Prime Video Latin America, said that although data is important to establish the path of what content to produce, how to do it, and when to launch it, we must add intuition and creativity of the work team to achieve contents with good results, such as Extraño Enemigo.

“Our focus is to look for content with known IPS, events that marked some moment of the history of countries, giving it an adequate treatment. Amazon has a varied audience, and even though we are in an initial stage, generating an audience, we are always listening and adapting our programming for it to have the best reception,” commented Pablo.

Regarding new developments, Iacoviello said there are several developments underway in Mexico with Televisa, Viacom, Turner. “In Latin America, we have over 50 developments and expect to refine them in order to start production. Our idea is to take the precise and necessary time to have quality productions that our audience likes.”
