Canal 22 Internacional with specially-themed programming to celebrate Holy Week

Between the church services, Easter egg hunts and family dinners, Canal 22 Internacional, the arts and entertainment channel, will devote an entire week of specially-themed programming for viewers to help get them inspired for this year’s Holy Week celebration.From March 21 through March 25, viewers will be able to experience Holy Week with Canal 22 Internacional. In the United States, the Catholic Church has approximately 63 million followers that celebrate Holy Week each year, as one of the most important Christian dates, commemorating the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.For the celebration of Easter, Canal 22 Internacional will present special programs including the following:Peregrinos de San Juan – Airing Tuesday, March 22 to Friday, March 25 (5pm PT/8pm ET), this program highlights the passage of thousands of religious pilgrims who, year after year, head towards San Juan de los Lagos from Mexican states. Mexico Vivo (Semana Santa en Pinotepa de Don Luis, Oaxaca) – In Pinotepa de Don Luis, Oaxaca, the Easter holiday reflects the fusion of pre-Hispanic and Catholic beliefs in the south of the country. This special will air on Friday, March 25 (5:30pm PT/8:30pm ET).Meanwhile, on Cinema 22 (8pm PT/11pm ET), viewers can enjoy these movies without commercial breaks: El Tejedor de Milagros (Monday, March 21); Caminito Alegre (Tuesday, March 22); El Rosal Bendito (Wednesday, March 23); Camino (Thursday, March 24) and El Martir del Calvario (Friday, March 25).
