Billy Rovzar, co-founder, CEO and producer of Lemon Studios, stated that 2018 was a good year for the production company. “We continue growing year after year, at least 10 to 15% each year. I hope this stops at some point. We must be careful with this stage in the company in which it might become more than a studio. There has to be a moment in which we are curators, and select the best projects in the market,” stated Rovzar.

They are currently producing Monarca for Netflix together with Ventanarosa, a production company owned by Salma Hayek and Stearns Castle; El Último Dragón with W Studios for Televisa and this December they are about to start shooting the second part of Atando Cabos, the film they launched with 15 years ago. They work for cinema, TV and theater.

“In 2019 we will be busy finishing a lot of the projects we began in 2018, such as Monarca, El Último Dragón. We are looking for partners for Perros Negros, as well as deciding where it is going to be shot and the cast. And we have a couple of projects for Netflix, that will be announced soon,” said Rovzar.
