Noticias Univisión and Fusion unveil state-of-the-art Newsport studios in Doral

Noticias Univisión and Fusion unveiled their Newsport studios for news and production in Doral. In attendance were Florida governor Rick Scott and the mayor of Doral, Luigi Boria; ABC News and Univision Communications executives, as well as member of the press.Teresa Rodríguez, co-host of Aquí y Ahora, was the master of ceremonies. César Conde, president of Univision Networks, addressed the audience and was excited to point out the new building would house about 600 people from Noticias Univisión and the new English-language news network Fusion (product of the joint venture between ABC News and Univisión), which will launch in October. The studios cover an area of 150,000 square feet.“We believe these are the largest and most modern news studios in the whole country. Once we have the over 600 employees working here next month, this will be a microcosm of the American reality: a multicultural, multilingual society. This building is a testament of the growth and transformation Univisión has undergone in recent years, a of what the private and pubic sectors can achieve together when they set out to innovate and create jobs,” said Conde.He thanked Miami-Dade County, the city of Doral and the governor of Florida, and also acknowledged ABC News for its support and Fusion, Isaac Lee and his news team. Conde also recognized the work of Fusion president Beau Ferrari.
