The Mediapro Studios: We will produce a biopic on Lola Flores

Javier Pons, general director of Globomedia and Patricio Rabuffetti, CEO and founder of Non Stop, announced from Spain on Conecta Fiction, that they will develop a biographic series on the singer Lola Flores.

The biopic will have two seasons that will be co-produced by Mediapro Studios and Non Stop, and the executive production will be under the responsibility of Lolita and Rosario Flores, the singer´s daughters, together with Mariola Orellana.

The series will tell the story of her life from her humble origins, developing in parallel with the main historical events the left their mark on Spain during those years.

“Lola Flores is one of the most important characters of pop culture, both in Spain and in Latin America. There has never been a biographic series about her, therefore it will be unprecedented, thanks to the agreement we reached with the Flores family” said Pons.

For his part, Rabuffetti mentioned he is thrilled with the Project and very sure it will be massive in terms of the media, thanks to Lola Flores´ popularity throughout Hispanic American culture.

“We have already started the development and soon you will have more news about everything that has to do with this production that we are so excited about,” he concluded.
