Amid one of the richest districts in the country lies The hood, a cluster of low-income housing for modest, blue-collar families. One such family are the Davids. Dad Ben is a widower on the verge of bankruptcy, who struggles to support his five kids. Making things worse, the mayor constantly tries to get rid of the hood altogether. Ben’s kids prank the community’s snobbish teens with hilarious results, while tales of mystical treasure lead them on a dangerous quest that could change their lives forever, as this critically-acclaimed teen drama skilfully combines edgy class struggles with suspenseful action and big doses of fun.
