Víctor López, founder, and CEO of Ánima Kitchent
Ánima Kitchent is working on two projects: Piny (52×11´) and Cleo & Cuquín (52×7´).
Piny is based on the Pinypon dolls from the Spanish toy CompanyFamosa, and is already being aired in Latin America, Disney España and other territories around the world. It also has a version in live action, with 30 episodes.
Cleo & Cuquín is a co-production with Televisa, which two years ago launched the new version of Vamos A La Cama Que Hay Que Descansar from Familia Telerín, and now for the series, it is taking part as co-producer, as the screen and as the distributor in Latin America. Distribution in the rest of the territories is in Ánima´s hands. Agreements have been signed with Discovery Kids Latin America, Clan from España and Netflix as the second window.
Likewise, they have four other projects in development. One is an animated series based on the book collection Los Atrevidos by Elsa Punset. “We have already made a tráiler and TVE just confirmed it will participate as co-producer for Clan” said Víctor López, founder, and CEO of Ánima Kitchent.
He also mentioned that the company’s work begins in the creative part and ends in brand management. “We approach content not as a television series, but as an entertainment brand; this is, we try to have content born in one media jump to other windows and be able to be distributed in different places”.
