As of Monday, April 27th the series The Cartel (57×60), a super production carried out by Caracol Televisión and distributed by Caracol TV International, premiered in United States through the UniMás network and will air Monday to Friday at 10pm. This series revolves around Martín, a young man who ends up becoming a drug dealer and whose only option out of the drug trafficking business is to reveal to North American authorities all the information he has acquired during his criminal life. With a screenplay by Andrés López and Juan Camilo Ferrand and directed by Luis Alberto Restrepo, it shows the face of ambition and greed which will make the protagonists life a living hell. Shot in Miami, Mexico, Armenia, Pereira and Cartagena, this story has international super star Manolo Cardona as the lead role, along with a cast formed by Karen Martínez, Diego Cadavid and Robinson Díaz. The series has been distributed in over 50 countries including Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Kenya, Mongolia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic among others.
