Beginning this week, English-speaking Hispanic viewers in the U.S. will have the opportunity to tune in to Estado de Gracia(State of Grace), Mexicos highly-provocative dramatic series about the countrys illegal drug trade thats been captivating audiences across the country, when Cinelatino re-launches it with English subtitles in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.Set against the backdrop of the drug trafficking crisis in Mexico, Estado de Gracia, is a political suspense thriller about a local congresswoman, portrayed by renowned actress Karina Gidi, who proposes a law to legalize drugs in an effort to dismantle the powerful drug cartels and end the narco-related violence.The series made its world premiere on Cinelatinothe nations leading Spanish-language movie channelin June before debuting in Mexico in August, following the presidential elections in that country. Packed with action and suspense, the series did incredibly well with our audience, which is why we chose to re-launch it with English subtitles so acculturated Hispanic audiences are able to enjoy it. Estado de Gracia is one of the best series to come out of Mexico, and were proud to make it available to a wider U.S. audience, claimed James M. McNamara, chairman of Cinelatino.
