Cox Communications celebrates Hispanic Heritage month with relevant content

Cox Communications has announced that it will be celebrating the culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans during Hispanic Heritage Month Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. It will call attention to its dedication to the Latino community through its marketing efforts focused on meeting their communications and entertainment needs with relevant content on On DEMAND and the Music Choice network. The company is also launching a new Spanish-language Internet Safety site. Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, subscribers to Cox Advanced TV will be able to access programming more focused on cultural awards, health and historical documentaries and feature films, among other categories. Also, the Hispanic Heritage section of movies on On DEMAND will feature classics within the genre like Our Family Wedding, Y Tu Mamá También, Frida, Selena and more. The service will also feature additional programming like the Alama Awards show on NBC and Telemundo2 on Sept. 22 to Oct. 20, and Premios Tu Mundo through Sept. 20 and Yo Me Llamo through the first quarter of 2013 on Telemundo.Music Choice will have a month-long celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month of music and culture exposing the power of the Latino Voice.
