Endemol and RCN adapting In Her Shoes

Endemol Shine Boomdog and Colombian channel RCN Television recently closed an option agreement for the English adaptation of In Her Shoes for the United States and Canada. The telenovela, which was originally broadcast in Colombia in 2006, became an audience favorite at the time.
In Her Shoes is an RCN original story and already has two successful local adaptations on the international market: one produced in Mexico under the name Por Ella soy Eva and another in Russia called, Think Like a Woman.
Leo Zimbrón, Head of Scripted Programming at Endemol Shine Boomdog, added, In Her Shoes’ gives us the opportunity to take a very successful story and adjust it to current times when its characters and message are more relevant than ever. This is the beginning of a solid creative relationship with RCN, to whom we are grateful for trusting us with one of their most valuable titles.”
The story was written by Elkin Ospina, Fernán Rivera, and Juan Carlos Troncoso; directed by Juan Camilo Pinzón and originally starred Jorge Enrique Abello and Mónica Lopera.
