Engine Latino appointed by Canana Films to distribute Niño Santo and Soy Tu Fan

Niño Santo, a Mexican drama series airing on Canal Once, is produced by Pablo Cruz, Mauricio Katz, and Pedro Peirano
Engine Latino, a division Chris Philips Engine Entertainment, announced that it has concluded a distribution deal with Canana Films, Gael García Bernal and Diego Lunas production company, for the scripted series Niño Santo and Soy Tu Fan. Niño Santo, produced by Pablo Cruz, Mauricio Katz, and Pedro Peirano, is the hit Mexican drama series, in which doctors attempting to vaccinate people in a remote village against a worldwide epidemic, discover they are protected by a cult-like leader, the so called Niño, who miraculously cures the sick, and teaches that the village is touched by the hand of God. As the doctors witness Niños miracles, they begin to doubt scientific impossibility against the possibility of faith. Niño Santo airs on Canal Once, and is in production for its second season.Soy Tu Fan, produced by Pablo Cruz and Constanza Novick, is a scripted romantic comedy, in which Charly and Nicolas find each other, only to create uncertainty in their lives. Nicolas follows Charly like a stalker, falls in love with her, and she is as confused as she is flattered. As their relationship grows, they will discover if the bond that unites them is love or an excuse to avoid solitude.We are excited to be involved with Canana and the superb production quality they deliver.
