Ashley Jordan, CEO of Fashion One and of Bigfoot Entertainment, told PRODU at the Hispanic Television Summit her company is already in conversations with several pay-TV operators in the U.S. to launch the signal in first quarter of 2015.The channel currently operates in about 90 countries and this year was launched in Latin American. The first to acquire the signal in the region were Colombias UNE and Mexicos Cablevisión. We now have this totally local feed and in Spanish that well bring to the U.S. In fact, North America is the last region where were seeking distribution. Ive just started conversations to get significant distribution in the Hispanic market, said Jordan.She said the channel would produce some content in the U.S. and others would come from Latin America. The company is already producing in Miami a reality series in Spanglish, which Jordan thinks will resonate well with the Hispanic audience.The company currently has partnerships in Mexico with Elite Model Look and Elite Model Management to produce a series about the new face of this brand.
