Flavio Morales has been named executive vice president, Endemol Shine Latino, U.S. Initiatives, it was announced by Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin, Co-Chairmen and Co-CEOs of Endemol Shine North America.Morales, a longtime Telemundo programming executive, will develop unscripted, scripted and digital content aimed at the U.S. Hispanic/English-speaking marketplace. Morales is based in Los Angeles and will work closely with the Endemol Shine Latino team in Miami. As recently announced, Laurens Drillich, currently CEO of Endemol Shine Netherlands, will become president of Endemol Shine Latino in early 2016, reporting to both Abrego and Corwin.Endemol Shine Latino, which now covers the companys Spanish-language sales and production in the U.S., Mexico and all of Latin America, is set to launch Gran Hermano with Telemundo in January and its first scripted drama El Vato for NBCUniverso in early 2016. Flavio brings a wealth of experience as both a producer and as a programming executive to our team.
