Cannes Lions 2025 has named Jimmy Smith, Chairman, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer of Amusement Park Entertainment (USA), as Jury President for the Entertainment Lions for Sport. This category recognizes creative work that connects brands with audiences by tapping into fan culture and the power of sports and esports.

A One Club For Creativity board member and 2024 Advertising Club of NY ICON,” said Cannes Lions. The added that his work has been recognised globally for its fresh advertising approaches.
According to the festival, as the founder of Amusement Park Entertainment, Smith has pioneered groundbreaking content, including Heaven Sent – a Guinness World Record live event – and the NFT sitcom pilot Da Dogg Gone Gym featuring Snoop Dogg. His Emmy-nominated work (Gatorade Replay), hit music collaborations (e.g., Dame D.O.L.L.A.’s “Bigger Than Us”), and iconic video games (e.g., EA Sports NBA Street 2) highlight his ability to connect brands with fan culture.
