Jorge Elias, a producer with more than 20 years of experience generating content for the Hispanic market of the US and until last year held the position of director of Productions en Spanish at UFC, is now the president of King of the Cage as well as of the Hispanic division at the company. King of the Cage specializes in producing programs about Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Elias commented to PRODU that as of Saturday July 28, Azteca America will begin to transmit the one-hour show Guerreros hispanos dedicated to emphasizing Hispanics in MMA. The program, which is a production of King of the Cage Deportes, is set to air at 9pm.The difference between this program and others about MMA that Ive done, because I was the only one until now to produce mixed martial arts programs, is that is has more detailed explanations of the different disciplines that make up MMA so that the audience fully understands what its about he explained. Elias joined UFC, for which he produced more than 300 hours of programming, to develop the Hispanic market within the discipline.
